So What! Wednesday

Today is my favorite blogging day of the week.  That's because it's So What! Wednesday.  This week I have no problem saying So What! if:

• That terrible toothache I had last week ended in a root canal.  I can say that now that it's over...ouch!
• I freaked out at the dentist because there was a HUGE spider crawling running around inside the light on the ceiling the entire hour .  Three needles in my gums, 55 minutes of drilling, and the X-ray machine hitting me upside the head when the dental assistant was moving it - didn't bother me - the creepy spider did.
• I dislike going to the local Fair in the most intense way.  It's always 90+ degrees, smelly and gross.
• I dislike going to the local Fair but I grin and bear it because my kids love it and it's a yearly traditional.

• Summer is over.  It was long.  It was hot.  And now it's time to pull out the cozy sweaters, UGG boots, and fashionable scarves.

• My son ended the summer by getting nine stitches in his knee, despite his initial fear and drama; I was one proud mama!  He was so brave and such a big boy while they were stitching him up.  It was impressive.

• I didn't know how to explain exactly what Labor Day was to my son.  On Labor Day, one isn't supposed to actually labor, so it's kind of an oxymoron really.
• I am enjoying my daughter's dog walking business as much as she is.  We met a nice elderly neighbor who loves his dog but has such bad knees that he's unable to walk him.  So Bella and I walk "Keno" together.
• I strongly dislike math - period.  It was my worst and least favorite subject in school and is back to haunt my dreams all over again.  {Why can't my husband be home when Bella does her homework?} 
• If I had to sit through one hour of Flag Football practice with my son, when he is on the 'injured-reserve list'.  It was his first practice and even though he can't participate - it's a good lesson in commitment.
• If I'm a little intimidated knowing that friends and family are following my blog.  I'm trying not to let it inhibit my blogging style.
