It's Friday. I'm happy. I'm laughing. I'm sharing.
Today's first funny foto was my mom's attempt at cake decorating. "Don't practice or anything, Mom" - just shoot straight from the hip on your daughter's 40th birthday cake. I am still laughing. Despite its lackluster appearance, the cake was actually very good and provided for great comic material for my big brother and I the rest of the evening.
Speaking of 40th birthdays...the next funny foto was snapped of my dad on his 40th birthday, back in 1984. There are so many funny thoughts racing through my head right now. Where to begin? Let's start with, why are you posing in the first place? And what about that {doesn't go with ANY decor} leopard print in the background? The hat ~ I'm used to. My dad has been wearing newsboy caps like this forEVER. They are actually really cute on him. The slippers though?? Not so sure why he decided to pose for his 40th birthday photo in leather slippers. Nonetheless, it's funny and so is he.
It's funny how a few old photos can bring you back in time and make you feel so happy.
