Listen, no one embraces new technology like me - I mean it's my day job for goodness sake. I am an Information Technology Sales Consultant and I have literally owened a PDA (personal digital assistant for those of you non-techies) since 1997. Seriously, my husband and I live by our iPhones and our Outlook calendars - we send appointments to each other daily. I have to-do lists, notes on everything, quotes, and favorite websites stored in my handheld device. I used to be one of the most organized people, however, lately I feel like something's missing. So today I decided that I was going to "Kick it Old School". I went out and bought a DAY-TIMER Weekly/Monthly Mom Planner with actual pages to write on.
It's not the big old "File-O-Fax" kind like they used in the early 90's, but it is a functional little planner that includes pages for grocery listes, caregiver contacts, notes and much much more. I am actually excited to pick up a pen and start filling up the pages my family's oh so crazy summer schedule. A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do and I'm not scared to write it down anymore.
Here's to getting organized!
