So What! Wednesday

It's So What! Wednesday ~  That's what...

I have been MIA for a little while and although I've missed my BellaBud Blog and my sweet followers, life got in the way and I've been busy and focused.  So, I decided to start blogging on my favorite of all blogging days - So What! Wednesday.  This week I am saying So What! if:
  • I had to see Breaking Dawn Part 1 at midnight on opening day.  I'm a Twi-hard and I don't care who knows it.  BTW, it was AH-mazing!
  • This is my husband's Facebook profile picture - he's funny and loves to hunt and I think this captures his personality perfectly.
  • If the Christmas Folgers Coffee commercial makes me teary-eyed.  Big brother returns home from West Africa, little sister is all grown up, parents watch adoringly from around the corner...  so sweet.
  • I'm only 1/2 decorated for Christmas.  Trees are up.  Mantle is complete.  That's it.  Part 2 this weekend.
  • My kids and l laughed out loud the whole entire time we watched Jack and Jill starring Adam Sandler and Adam Sandler.  Seriously friends, if you haven't seen it - you should.  HI-larious!
  • I don't participate in political discussions ever, but I just have to say it's time for the irritating Herman Cain to hang up his quest for a Presidential run.  I mean really - numerous sexual harassment allegations, a 14-year mistress, who is "just a friend", irritating shouting matches with the media.  So over it!
Short and sweet this week, but So What!

Happy "Over the Hump" Day,

So What! Wednesday

Today is Wednesday and I skipped last week's post, but what a way to come back! Today I have the pleasure of being the guest blogger at Life After I "Dew" - yep, that's right the one and only blog that is responsible for the So What! Wednesday series.

Soooooooooooooooooooooooo much to say So What! to this week, where do I begin?  Well for starters, this week I am saying So What! If:

·         I’m happy Halloween is OVER.  I love the month of October and I love Fall, but Halloween – not so much.  I don’t like to dress in costume, but my husband does, so he always makes it a bigger production than I care to partake in.  I do have to admit, my kiddos looked way cute, so that was fun.

·         Dancing with the Stars is on my nerves this season.  I LOVE Maks, but don’t like his partner, Hope Solo.  It’s difficult to watch their zero-chemistry, much less vote for them.  {Sorry Maks, you need a partner who appreciates your hotness and incredible moves}.
·         I was too busy during the month of October to blog regularly.  I’m glad I didn’t lose my faithful followers – I just didn’t gain any new ones L.  It’s ok though, I’m back so come visit.
·         My 10 year old daughter made me feel guilty for canceling my US Weekly Subscription after about 10 years.  Apparently, she sneaks a little peek at it throughout the week and is going to miss it {stick to the Cupcake Diaries, Bella}.
·         I started Christmas shopping last week.  I bought my first present of the season for my little Goddaughter so I have officially kicked off the holiday shopping season – chipping away at it a little bit at a time.
·         I diagnosed myself with “Misaphonia” a/k/a Selective Sound Sensitivity Syndrome after watching a segment on the Today Show.  It helped explain why the mere sound of crunching, gum cracking, loud breathing, snoring and whistling (just to name a few)…can drive me nuts.  Although Misophonia is not a well-known diagnosis and few treatment options are available, it makes me feel better to know that I’m not alone, hence why I joined a Misophonia Support Forum. Luckily I think I only have a slight case of it, but nonetheless, it’s the real deal.
·         My husband planned a family Ski Weekend for us with one of his BF’s in February.  I’m excited to go hang out with hubby, the kids, and our friends {who are super cool} however, I have no desire to ski – period.  Ski lodge, hot chocolate and some tubing will be the extent of my involvement.
·         I try to think of ways to use “rock my socks” in a sentence, but it never sounds as cool as it does when Shannon Dew says it!
·         I have a big blogger crush on Shannon, here at Life After I “Dew”.  She says what I’m thinking, she likes what I like, she blogs like it’s her job, she is fun, super cute and motivating (nice job with the weight loss, sister!) I’m so happy I got to meet her this summer while in Columbus.
Well that’s a SW!W Wrap – thanks so much for letting me visit.  Don’t forget to link up and tell everyone what you are saying So What! to this week.  It’ll make you feel better…I promise.

Happy "Over the Hump" Day,

Weighing In

Well, I hate to be the girl that said "I told you so", so I won't.  But seriously...Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries...who didn't know that was going to end within a year??  I have to say that I didn't expect it to only last 72 days.  I'm sure you've heard by now, Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kris Humphreys yesterday.

My sister got me watching Keeping Up with the Kardashians a couple of years ago and I used to really like watching the show.  That was until I got a peak at Kim's wedding registry totaling $172,000 in luxury housewares.  It turned me off completely because Kim Kardashian has a net worth $35 million dollars, what could she possibly need?  Then the whole "faux Fairytale wedding" just seemed so 'put on'.  I mean, you can't get any more successful, so was it just for ratings OR did Kim really think she found her soul mate after five months of dating??

Nonetheless, the marriage is over and Kim Kardashian is left to live with the pain and the mistake.  Love her or hate her - divorce is hard and I wouldn't wish that upon anyone.

Just saying,
